I’m Marcia.
Like you, I’ve spent much of my life trying to understand what it means to be a human being.
Hello… here’s a little bit about me.
I have led a very diverse and fascinating life. The reason for this, I think, is that I have always been curious, adventure has always called me, and I acted in spite of being afraid sometimes. I would acknowledge my fear and then ask it to buzz off.
Consequently, I’ve had many careers, one of which was working in the employment world for 15 years. While in that world, some of the things I accomplished were: connecting job searchers to employers and jobs; succeeding in encouraging others to acquire training and/or education; assisting people in their search for meaning and contribution in their work; guiding others on their self-awareness journey.
I now live in Nanaimo. Having gone back to school myself two and a half years ago, I just graduated in November with a Master of Arts in Executive and Organizational Coaching. My current contribution lives in supporting others to discover who they really are and what they are actually yearning to contribute to the world. Once we figure that out together, we can plan how to make a living at it!
We are often not who we think we are.
We are always more than the stories we’ve been telling ourselves.
